Riley County Larger Parish
Serving God and Our Community

Riley County Larger Parish
The Riley County Larger Parish was established in 1949 and includes the Riley and Fairview Presbyterian churches. Both churches have lifelong members and welcome new members any time. They share a pastor. The Parish is fortunate to be served by, the Rev. D. Erich Schwartz.
Both churches have a rich heritage, established by German immigrants, and located in the beautiful Flint Hills with an excellent local school system. The churches have many lifelong members, and some are fourth generation. Riley, Kansas, is a rural bedroom community to Manhattan and Fort Riley and has a strong agricultural background. Manhattan is home to Kansas State University, a four-year institution offering sporting, cultural, and educational opportunities. Fort Riley, a U.S. army base, is expected to expand over the next few years.
